The Bible and Its Influence
This is a textbook written to be legal in all 50 states to teach the Bible as literature in public schools. It is currently in more than 400 schools and 8 countries. The textbook discusses the influence of the Bible on art, culture, science, math, langage, drama, and more. Terry is reading through all 32 sessions and trying to finish it as a course before his release date.

Democracy in America by Alexis de Tocqueville
Terry has been reading this book and is amazed by the insights of the author and the observations about American culture. He feels there is much to learn here about what is great about America and what we have lost site of.
